How Much do your systems cost?

Your HomeGuard™ system will be tailored to your needs. The price will depend on the level of protection that you determine you need. HomeGuard systems can be designed from basic up to comprehensive, starting at about $1 a day, including equipment purchase, monitoring service, and warranty. Call for details.
All HomeGuard systems can be purchased with no up-front fees and no interest with a guaranteed monitoring rate, and warranty coverage for up to 60 months (O.A.C). You choose your term, from 12 to 60 months. Most customers choose to use the monitoring service for several years, making this a very attractive and affordable option.

Please call (206) 521-5678 or toll-free at 1-800-224-4211 for additional information and a free in-home consultation.

Will I own the system, or will the security company own the system?

You are making an investment to purchase and own your HomeGuard security system. Many other security companies actually lease or rent security equipment. This could effect you dramatically if you should ever choose to monitor with another provider or not at all. Be sure to ask who will own the equipment when shopping for your security system, and what will happen if you choose to use the equipment with another monitoring service.

What happens if I purchase a new system and move during my initial agreement term?

In the event that you move (within HomeGuard’s service territory) HomeGuard will move the equipment to your new residence at no charge, provided that you continue your service and fulfill the service term at the new residence. You may choose to sell your HomeGuard system with your home since you will own it, and can rightfully do so (as long as you have fulfilled your initial service term).

How long is my included warranty coverage?

All new HomeGuard installations come with an included warranty covering repairs (parts and labor) for your entire monitoring commitment period - up to 60 months. Some companies include warranties that cover only a portion of the monitoring commitment period for parts and labor. Some of these "lifetime warranties" may be limited to covering parts and not labor for the life of the monitoring commitment.

What happens once my initial monitoring term is over?

After your initial monitoring commitment has been fulfilled you continue HomeGuard monitoring service on a month-to-month basis. Many companies' service agreements automatically renew for up to a two-year additional term if you do not cancel your service immediately after the initial term ends. Unlike HomeGuard security systems, many other security systems are proprietary, which means they can never be monitored by another provider without replacing equipment. You retain the option to choose with HomeGuard.

Are your systems hardwired or wireless?

HomeGuard systems can be used in both hardwired and wireless applications. In the majority of new HomeGuard installations, wireless sensors are used to maximize the effectiveness of the system, and minimize the intrusiveness of the installation process.

How reliable are wireless systems?

HomeGuard wireless security systems are highly reliable. They are manufactured by G.E. Interlogics, the industry's foremost manufacturer of monitored wireless security products. G.E. Interlogics systems are used extensively by the U.S. Government.

How easy is the system to use?

Easy to understand commands, along with clear voice feedback make the systems very easy to use. Convenient features like touch-tone telephone access, and key-chain remote controls provide for additional ease of use.
